The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Brigadier General (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has announced seven new appointments to key positions in government ministries and institutions, aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing public service delivery.
According to a public notice issued by the Office of the Press Secretary at State House, the appointments are subject to parliamentary approval where applicable.
The appointees include:
- Ms. Jenneh Jabati – Appointed as Deputy Minister II in the Ministry of Finance
- Mr. Stephen M. Swaray – Appointed Board Member at the Bank of Sierra Leone
- Mr. Victor V. Kamara – Appointed Board Member at the Road Maintenance Fund
- Ing. Henry Baio – Appointed Member of the Sierra Leone Electricity and Water Regulatory Commission (SLEWRC)
- Madam Ngozi Beckley-Lines – Appointed Member, SLEWRC
- Ing. Joseph Bockarie – Appointed Member, SLEWRC
- Madam Mary A.M. Rogers – Appointed Member, SLEWRC
The notice emphasized that all appointments requiring legislative endorsement will be presented to Parliament for approval.
