The Fourah Bay community in Freetown observed Eid prayers this morning with their son, Ady Macauley—aspiring 2028 APC Flagbearer—who joined fellow worshippers at Masjid Baitullah Mosque on Kennedy Street to observe the sacred Eid-ul-Adha prayers.

Macauley’s quiet, dignified presence spoke volumes. Without fanfare or speeches, he walked humbly among elders, youths, and families—many of whom have known him since childhood—as they gathered to honour the spirit of sacrifice and unity at the heart of Eid. His attendance resonated deeply with the community, many of whom described it as “emotionally fulfilling.”

Witnesses at the mosque described the atmosphere as joyous and electric, with worshippers visibly moved by Macauley’s gesture of celebrating Eid with his community during one of Islam’s most significant religious festivals.

“He didn’t need to speak,” said one community elder. “His presence was enough. It reminded us that no matter how far you rise, you must never forget where you come from.”

A proud son of Fourah Bay, Ady Macauley has long been regarded as a symbol of hope, discipline, and quiet strength. As he positions himself for national leadership under the APC banner, his consistent ties to his roots continue to define his political journey—grounded, relatable, and community-first.

Today’s gathering was not just a prayer—it was a moment of unity and a subtle but powerful political statement: the people of Fourah Bay are ready to stand behind their own.

Eid Mubarak to all. From the shores of Fourah Bay to the heart of the nation, unity and sacrifice live on.
