The leading mobile company and its leadership continue to receive different awards for their continuous support and development efforts in the country.
On Wednesday 7th December, 2022 is another remarkable day for Jestina Betts, Director for Orange Foundation SL when she received another award presented by National Corporate Women Awards 2022 as one of the TOP 100 WOMEN IN CORPORATE SIERR LEONE.
The citation among other things reads: “In recognition of your dedication to professionalism, passion for excellence, and commitment to the socio-economic growth of Sierra Leone.”
The award was presented to Madam Betts at the 2022 National Corporate Women’s Awards ceremony held in Freetown, on the 7th Dec. 2022.
According to Rebecca Paulson Organizing Secretary, Awards Committees 2022, the awards provides an opportunity to support and share the vision to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking, enterprising, professional and business women nationally.
She added: “Studies have shown that women feel they have to work harder for recognition compared to their male counterparts and on average are less vocal about their success. One of the best, and simplest ways to gain recognition in the corporate world is to be put forward for an award. Therefore, the National Corporate Women’s Awards 2022 (NCWA) endorses and celebrates women in business, professions, public service, non-profits and politics who have successfully launched and grown their businesses and succeeded in their careers or professions. Let 2022 be the year you are recognized as an outstanding woman in your profession, industry or sector.”
Few months ago, the Orange Foundation Director was also honored by African Consulting Group as one of the Top 100 Sierra Leoneans for her professional contribution in Sierra Leone.
Orange Foundation has been recognized as the best corporate social responsibility performer in Sierra Leone over the past two years from building schools, safeguarding maternal mortality, establishing digital schools etc.
