1. Overview
The present Terms of Reference aim to provide the minimum specifications the Contractor shall provide to the GIZ Country Office as part of their proposal for installation, configuration, patching, testing, labeling, and documentation of the Datacenter and Local Area Network for the GIZ Country office in Sierra Leone.
- Background
GIZ Country Office is currently located in Freetown Sierra Leone.
The LAN Installation will accommodate up to 80 end-users; connected through an inter- office LAN and Data Connectivity System.
The LAN connection is also used for DATA, VoIP communications, videoconferences, and building management systems. In this regards GIZ CO Sierra Leone will require a unified Wired and Wireless Local Area Network (LAN) installed and configured at the office site using CAT6 Specifications cables.
- Technical Requirements
The company will be in charge of:
- To provide the material necessary for the realization of the work.
- Proceed to the installation of the trucking and wiring.
- Install the network and equipment in the rack.
The services required, and the expected results will be defined in detail in the terms of reference (TORs) for the work, which will be the subject of a tender document.
The company we are looking for must be a qualified and ethical structure with experience in the field of Network cabling.
Based on the responses to this call for expressions of interest, GIZ will prepare a
Comparative analysis of the bids, which will designate the company with which a service contract will be drawn up and signed.
The eligibility criteria and selection procedure will be in accordance with GIZ procedures.
It should be noted that the interest shown by a company does not imply any obligation on the part of GIZ to conclude a contract with.
