The leading telecommunications company in Sierra Leone in terms of wider network coverage and efficiency, Orange-SL, has on Saturday 17th September, dashed a brand new car to the winner of the ‘Points-Up’ promo. The event took place at the company’s branch at Rawdon Street in Freetown.
The host of the event Madam Martha Sumaila, said that this is not a joke or the first-time orange is doing such a promo. She added that they’ve given out five cars in their previous promotions and also given lots of cash to other winners.
The winner of the Car Ibrahim Mansaray, of Waterloo with cellphone (076959355) was officially handed the car keys by the CEO of Orange SL.
Ibrahim Mansaray acknowledged that, at first, he thought it was just a prank or fraud from callers who usually play games with customers.
He further thanked everyone at Orange-SL for their tremendous effort and commitment to satisfy customers. He mentioned that he was never thinking about this opportunity, as he has never won anything with the company since joining them over 20years ago.
Ibrahim Mansaray affirmed that he will definitely use the car rather than selling it, despite he doesn’t know how to drive but will definitely find a driver and learn how to drive.
He encouraged others to join Orange-SL and to believe in Orange-SL that with Allah all things are possible.
During the program, a draw was made for five other finalists for weekly winners, who won one million each before the commencement of the grand draw.
Mariama, one of the winners of the One million Leones expressed her heartfelt gratitude and thanked Orange-SL for such a promotion, as she was not expecting to win such an amount of money so early in the morning.
She said that she’ll continue to use orange and buy more top up to be part of any other promotion.
A performance was done by one of Sierra Leone’s finest musicians I-Tribe, who entertained guests.
The event climaxed with the official handing over of the car to the winner and photo ops.
