Sierra Leonean football administrator, Chairman of the Eastern Region Football Association who also serves in the country’s FA Executive Board Prince Kai Saquee will be representing FIFA as a Match Commissioner in probably the biggest football match ever recorded in Africa as two of the giants of the continent’s football, Nigeria and Ghana, are set to take on each other in the 2022 Qatar World Cup Qualifiers.
At the back of a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Kumasi, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will host the Black Stars of Ghana in the return leg today Tuesday March 29 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja and the winner of the tie will progress to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
With a wealth of experience having previously commissioned high profiled matches including but not limited to; AFCON Qualifiers– Burkina Faso vs. Ghana, Gabon vs. Gambia, Algeria vs. Gambia and in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers- *Central African Republic vs. Liberia, Cape Verde vs. Liberia and Nigeria vs. Cape Vape, Saquee looks forward to handling the said clash professionally as one of the most experienced officials in the business of commissioning and he sees this as “another opportunity to keep excelling”.
