Honourable Mohamed Bangura has today Monday,  March 14, 2022,  at 15:00Hrs declared full support for Dr. Samura Kamara.

Making the declaration in the presence of Dr. Samura Kamara and a cross section of his core team, Mohamed Bangura said, “I have decided to join Dr Samura Kamara because I have realised that he has the capacity to accommodate every one, unite the party and lead the APC to victory in 2023.”

Bangura added, “I’m  here on my own volition and with all my heart; I pledge my time, energy and resources, including my political capital, in support of Dr. Samura Kamara’s candidature to lead the APC.”

Mohamed Bangura said that Dr Samura Kamara has worked so hard and endeared himself to not only the majority of APC supporters, but also to the larger Sierra Leonean population. 

It could be noted that on Friday, March 11, 2022, President Julius Maada Bio, ‘appointed’ the dates for parliamentary, local council and other elections. This has been followed by the National Elections Commission’s announcement that the presidential elections will be held  barely 15 months from now on June 24, 2023, on the same day as the elections for local Council and parliamentary.

Honourable Mohamed Bangura therefore appealed to all other comrades to close ranks and present a united front in firm support of the stronger candidate, against the incumbent.
