NASSIT: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (AN INTERNATIONAL TENDER)

The NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY AND INSURANCE TRUST (NASSIT) has allocated funds to hire the services of a firm with knowledge to carry out an assessment of the status of coverage of workers in the informal economy, the identification of policy gaps and barriers and the priority needs with Procurement Number: NASSIT/IS/EOI/ICB/00/22

The TRUST now invites interested firms/Consultants to provide their intent (Expression of Interest) for the above consulting services. More details on the services required will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Terms of Reference to be issued subsequently to the firms responding to this EOI and down-selected for the next phase of the RFP.

A firm will be selected under the Quality and Cost Based Selection method and procedures that will be described in the Request for Proposal.

A copy of the Expression of Interest (EOI) document is available on the Trust’s website at https://www.nassit.org.sl/nppa website and can also be collected from the Procurement Office First Floor, NASSIT HOUSE, 32 Walpole Street, Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The EOI response shall be delivered in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Expression of Interest for the ‘Assessment of the status of Social Protection Coverage of the Informal Economy workers’ at the reception, in the tender box at NASSIT HOUSE, 32 Walpole Street, Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Responses by firms can  be submitted in sealed envelopes deposited in the tender box at the NASSIT office before the EOI submission deadline 15TH March, 2022 NASSIT HOUSE, 32 Walpole Street, Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa

All bids must be accompanied by:

  • Valid NASSIT Clearance
  • Business Registration Certificate in country of residence/operations
  • Valid NRA Tax Certificate/ evidence of tax compliance in country of operations.
  • Evidence of past performance in similar exercise that will justify specific experience of the firm.
  • Evidence of membership of a professional body relevant to the assignments above.

 

Only firms who meet the

  • Specific Experience of the Consultant to the Assignment        40  Points
  • Qualification and Competence of key staff                                  30 Points
  • Adequacy of proposed work plan & Methodology                     20 Points
  • Local participation by key staff                                                       10 Points

 

Will be shortlisted to proceed to the next stage. Late EOI’s submitted will be rejected and returned unopened
