Advocate, Litigator, Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone Wara Serry-Kamal is aspiring for the position of President of the Bar next month’s Sierra Leone Bar Association elections.

Wara is expected to make his formal declaration to run for the Bar Presidency on Thursday , 11 April, 2024 at 3rd Floor Freetown City Council Hall.

In support of Wara’s aspiration, Popular Lawyer Abu Bakarr Turay described her as a solid legal practitioner who puts premium on her client’s satisfaction.

Lawyer Turay further states “She says it as she sees it. Tenacious. Wise. Assertive. Brave. Kind. These are the only adjectives that befit our next Bar Prezo. She’s a team player Lawyer Almost sixteen years post call as a lawyer, I can say more than ever, our Bar needs a voice that is louder and firmer than it presently is. A Bar that can speak truth to power without sounding or acting like an opposition party. A Bar that will seek national interest and justice without fear or favour. A Bar that will compliment government and all stakeholders in development but also call to order where things go amiss.
