Joseph Morrison, an enthusiast and a vibrant young Sierra Leonean, with multifaceted fields of engagements, is gearing up for the ultimate showpiece of the biggest reality TV show in Sierra Leone – the House of Stars Season Two tv show being organised by Kings Empire SL Ltd.
Among the hopeful and potential contestants to enter the show, Joseph Morrison stands out as a strong contender who commands a huge following and support from the Kissy community in the eastern part of Freetown.
Naming his support team as TEAM KISSY PIKIN resonates with his childhood community, where he grew up, went to school, and engaged in development and sociocultural activities. For Morrison, the Kissy community plays a great role in what he’s accomplished as a young man. Therefore, paying homage to that community is the right thing to do.
Despite living in Kissy, Joseph’s popularity and influence cut across Sierra Leone and beyond.
Joseph Morrison is a university student, a youth and student leader, a multi-instrumentalist, a social influencer, and an activist who believe in the mantra of ‘Not Too Young To Lead’, serving as an inspiration to young folks.
Joseph is going into the House of Stars show to showcase his diverse sets of talents, but most importantly, to serve as an inspiration and an icon to his peers (the youth). At 22 years, Joseph is believed to be the youngest applicant for the HoS season two show.
About Joseph Morrison —
Joseph Morrison is a Sierra Leonean social influencer and instrumentalist who is currently a third-year student pursuing a B.Sc. in Public Sector Management (Hons) at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) in Sierra Leone. Alongside his academic pursuits, Joseph is actively involved in various activities that strive for development, change, and reform in different sectors of life due to his zealous and resilient nature.
Joseph Morrison was born in Freetown on the 6th of August, 2002. He grew up in Kissy and attained his primary and secondary school education at the Bethlehem International Primary School and at the Methodist Boys’ High School in Kissy, Freetown.
In 2021, Joseph was admitted at IPAM, University of Sierra Leone, to read a BSc in Public Sector Management.
Joseph has actively participated in various roles, including serving as a teacher at Community Fellowship Primary School, CEO of Apex Blog, Social Media Director at Inspirational Leadership Movement, Public Relations Officer & Organizing Secretary at Students Against Corruption, and Head of Media and Marketing at Book Market Sierra Leone. He has also held positions such as the first president of the Methodist Boys’ High School Alumni Association-IPAM chapter, Personal Assistant to the first female president of IPAM-SUG, Cabinet Secretary IPAM-SUG, former Head Boy at Community Fellowship Junior Secondary School, Executive Director at Children’s Rights and You Cry Sierra Leone, former Youth President at Bethlehem International Church Kissy, and presently, Joseph is the Minister of Information and Communication for IPAM-SUG.
Furthermore, Joseph has achieved recognition for his contributions in various sectors, winning awards and recognitions such as Best Freshman IPAM 2022, Best Young Student Lecturer at Wisdom and Understanding Syndicate, the first Sierra Leonean to become a guest speaker at the National Sustainable Development Summit organized by Khyawa Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (online), Best Runway Walk at the International Condom Celebration Day in Makeni, and Most Influential Male Student at Wisdom and Understanding Syndicate.
Joseph Morrison was invited to attend the 10th World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy) in France in May 2024. Additionally, he is a proud awardee of the 50 Most Influential Students Award and the CEO/Founder of Sierra Edutainment Company.
