The Western Region Executive of the All People’s Congress (APC) has officially extended its support to the upcoming launch of the Ady Macaulay Movement, set for 18 December 2025 at Fourah Bay Field.

In a statement released on 11 December 2025, the Western Region Secretariat confirmed that Ady Macaulay, a 2028 APC Flagbearer aspirant, personally met with the Region’s Executive Committee to formally notify them of the movement and invite regional support.

The statement emphasized the Region’s appreciation for the respect and courtesy shown by Ady Macaulay in following proper channels to engage party leadership. It also reaffirmed the Western Region’s commitment to facilitating and supporting all APC members aspiring for leadership positions, promoting fairness, unity, and proper coordination across the Region.

“All Districts in the Western Region are officially invited to support this initiative,” the statement read, underscoring the party’s dedication to inclusive participation and internal cohesion.

The Ady Macaulay Movement launch is expected to attract significant attendance from party members, supporters, and stakeholders, marking an important milestone in the lead-up to the 2028 APC Flagbearer selection process.
