U-20 & U-17 Teams Appreciate SLFA’s President
The national U-20 Female and Male U-17 teams of Sierra Leone have voiced appreciation for a commendation they received from the astute SLFA president, Madam Isha Johasen.
The commendation acknowledges the spectacular performance of the teams against their opponents in their first games on Tuesday October, 2020.
A part of the message which came in as news update from SLFA’s media department, reads:
“The Sierra Leone Football Association President Madam Isha Johansen has today expressed delight and congratulated the young boys (U-17) and girls (U-20) presently representing the Nation in the ongoing Liberia-Sierra Leone friendly gala in Monrovia.”
Receiving this message, there’s a show of excitement and hard work by both teams- players and officials alike.
They players assert such motivation from the President can only bolster their courage, commitment and determination to win for their country with an exquisite representation.
Dubbing her the ‘Game Changer,’ coaches and team managers applaud her and the support they receive from her leadership of Sierra Leone’s football federation.
They say she is ”the progressive face of football in Sierra Leone.”
Sierra Leone’s national Female U-20 and the Male U-17 teams are currently participating in international friendlies here in Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia.
The teams are set to clash with Liberian premiership clubs at the Antionette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia this afternoon- 2pm and 4pm respectively.
