Two Bar Association Presidential Candidates to Address the Media on Bar Association Election Controversy

Wara Serry-Kamal and Augustine Sorie-Sengbe Marrah, the two presidential candidates of the Sierra Leone Bar Association who were allegedly deprived during the recent AGM and elections, have announced a press conference to address the serious concerns surrounding the AGM and election.

Marrah and Serry-Kamal have called for a press conference today, May 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the New Brookfields Hotel. They will communicate their official stance and outline their next steps.

This comes following allegations of irregularities, violence, and a forceful election of new leadership within the Sierra Leone Bar Association.

The legal community and the public are eagerly awaiting their detailed account and proposed solutions to restore confidence in the Bar Association’s electoral integrity.
