Sulmar International School, located at 195 Bai Bureh Road, Mission Haja Fatmata, has once again showcased its academic excellence with impressive results in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
All 31 candidates from the school passed the national examination, with the majority achieving aggregates between 14 and 15. Only three students scored in the 19–21 range, a performance widely celebrated by the school community.
Mr. Mohamed Fofanah, former Principal and current Vice Principal, expressed delight at the results, noting that the success reflects Sulmar’s strong academic culture and commitment to excellence. Current Principal, Mr. Milton S. Mangar, encouraged students to remain focused and aim for even higher achievements in the 2026 BECE.
The school’s Director of Studies, Mr. Ishmail Bangura, who also lectures at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), commended teachers, staff, and parents for their contributions. He emphasized that the school’s success is anchored on qualified teaching staff, a strong emphasis on English and French, and the promotion of critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
In recognition of the teachers’ dedication, a token of appreciation was presented to the BECE teaching staff on 4th November 2025, acknowledging their pivotal role in guiding students to academic success.
