The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of new members to its Organising Committee and Technical Committee, following approval by the Association’s Executive Committee.
In a press release issued under the theme “Raise Your Game,” the SLFA said the appointments form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen football administration, improve competitions, and enhance technical development across the country.
The newly constituted SLFA Organising Committee will be chaired by Abdul Osman Turay, with Foday Anthony serving as Vice Chairman. Other members of the committee include Musu “Pele” Bangura, Abu Mansaray, Noel Kitami Horton, Abdul Pascal Gbla, Mohamed U.T.A. Kamara, Yusif Rogers, and Mohamed Taimeh.
According to the SLFA, the Organising Committee is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of organised competitions, events, and related football activities, in line with the Association’s statutes and regulations.
Meanwhile, the SLFA Technical Committee will be headed by Alie Badara Tarawallie as Chairman, with Emmanuel Allieu as Vice Chairman. The committee also includes Idrissa Mago Tarawally, Victoria Conteh, and John Edward Keister as members.
The Technical Committee is tasked with providing technical guidance and oversight on football development, coaching education, and all technical aspects of the game in Sierra Leone.
The SLFA congratulated all appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of football in the country, while wishing them success in the discharge of their respective duties.
