The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the postponement of the SLFA Ordinary Congress, which was initially scheduled to take place in the first week of July 2024.
According to the FA, this decision comes in light of the prevailing court issue that has recently resulted in the closure of the SLFA premises, thereby barring the secretariat from operating.
As a result, the office is unable to proceed with the necessary administrative preparations for the Congress.
The SLFA reaffirms its commitment to complying with the court’s verdict and is dedicated to resolving the current situation promptly.
The President Thomas Daddy Brima and the Executive Committee are actively working to restore normalcy and ensure that all operations can resume at the earliest possible time. Once the issue is resolved, a new date for the Ordinary Congress will be communicated to the public, particularly to the membership of the Sierra Leone Football Association.
SLFA Confirmed that all members have been duly informed of this latest development.
