Very reliable sources within the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL) and the Ministry of Finance have intimated this press that the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB) enviably topped all financial institutions in the first quarter of the 2024 annual balance sheet statement.

SLCB has the highest profit-making ratio and is one of the most successful commercial banks in the country.

This accomplishment has been attributed to the dedicated, visionary organisational leadership of a competent, highly productive Managing Director, Yusufu Abdul Silla, and Deputy Managing Director, Festus Sowa.

The duo has driven a team of dedicated Senior Management staff and a very supportive Board of Directors with a collective burning desire not only to stay at peak performance but to always exceed their best.

This explains why SLCB continues to grow from strength to strength, exceeding deliverables on yearly income and profit margins.

The bank offers a wide range of banking products that meet the satisfaction of both corporate and ordinary customers, with a premium on reliability, speed and ease in business transactions.

In 2022, despite the stiff competition, the bank made a profit of Le132 Billion Old Leones Pre-Tax.
