The Sierra Leone Immigration Department has informed the general Public that it would resume the naturalisation process with effect from 1st October 2024.

Any foreign National wishing to become a Sierra Leonean citizen should apply by completing the application form and Providing the requisite evidences.

Foreign Nationals wishing to naturalize must submit there applications forms with the ORIGINALS of the following documents.

The original valid National Passport,

3 Passport-sized Photos,

Birth Certificate (if Relevant),

Marriage Certificate (if Relevant)

Change of Name Deed (if Relevant),

Evidence of Parents Status (if Relevant),

Evidence of Residence in Sierra Leone for the Last Eight Years,

Evidence of Travel in and Out of the COUNTRY for the Last Five Years,

Evidence of Current Employment or Business,

Evidence of Earning in the Last Five Years (Payslips/Bank Statements)
