The Sierra National U20 team has secured their first Victory against Mauritania on Tuesday, 22nd May, 2024 WAFU female tournament in in Senegal.
Two goals from Kadiatu M. Kamara and Juliet Brima gives the shooting stars their first win in WAFU Women’s Opener.
The match was intensely contested, with both teams displaying strong defensive tactics. Despite numerous efforts, the game ended in favour of Sierra Leone.
Sierra Leone’s Captain, Kadiatu M. Kamara wins the woman of the match award after an impressive performance to help Sierra Leone edged their opponent.
Sierra Leone will Face Liberia on Thursday 23rd May in their second Match in the Tournament. A win for Sierra Leone will result to six points in two matches. The team’s solid performance in their first match showcases their determination and competitiveness in the ongoing International Competition.
