In a Press Conference on Monday 24th June 2024, he stated that he followed all Protocols and laws in conducting the June 24, 2023 Presidential and general election and there is no law that instructed the commission to publish results or disaggregated data for election.
The Chief Electoral Commissioner Mohamed Konneh has refused to Publish the 2024 Disaggregated Polling Station Results with a justification that it is not mandated by law.
The ECSL further highlights that contrary to information available in the media: that the ECSL has never published disaggregated polling station result in all its elections conducted since 2007 to date and that Section 92 of the PEA 2022 DOES NOT require the ECSL to produce DISAGGREGATED POLLING STATION RESULTS and therefore the ECSL is not in breach of any provision in the PEA 2022.
