In every phase/episode of the project, celebrities will be randomly selected and the first episode (episode 1) will future two of Sierra Leone’s finest male and female musicians Markmuday and Empres P respectively.
The first episode (episode 1) took place on Monday 30th November 2020, these two mentioned celebrities were up in full gear as SLRSA Corps performed the functions of traffic corps in major streets across Freetown, which was followed by road traffic sensitization through various platforms that ensured quick transmission of their messages to the general public within the shortest possible time.
The objective is to give massive support and boast to the road traffic sector in their fight to reduce road traffic accidents in the country. Statistics shows that festive seasons are periods known to record the highest number of road traffic accidents and being that we have already entered the festive period for this year 2020, makes the project timely and laudable.
Celebrities are people that are followed all across the globe and they usually have a wide range of followers and supporters who emulate their life styles and will always follow their instructions and advise because of the special love they hold for them and that makes the essence of using celebrities in this fight.
This project will be exclusively implemented by the SLRSA in partnership with Diamond Line Entertainment SL Ltd.
