Anticipating RC Bank’s upcoming 25th-year anniversary celebration, the RC Bank Junior Staff Association is gearing up to host one of the country’s most anticipated events – the “RCBank Cashless Fiesta”. Scheduled for April 20, 2024, at the Hamilton Resort, 5 Adrian Drive, Hamilton.

This fiesta promises to be a spectacular showcase of Sierra Leonean culture and music, while also providing a platform to showcase the bank’s products and services.

Francis Gandi, President of the Junior Staff Association, explained the rationale behind the event, stating that it aligns with one of the key priorities of Managing Director Dr. Ekundayo W. Gilpin – the transition towards a cashless banking environment in Sierra Leone. Gandi emphasized the importance of moving away from traditional banking methods and embracing modern, digital transactions. He highlighted that the fiesta serves as an opportunity to celebrate the bank’s milestone anniversary while promoting its products and services to both customers and non-customers.

The “RCBank Cashless Fiesta” will feature a diverse range of activities, including quiz competitions with attractive prizes, live musical performances, rap battles among staff from various branches, dancing competitions, and raffle draws for users of the Simkorpor Product, among others. The event is open to all branches across the country, as well as customers and non-customers, with the aim of fostering better understanding and interaction outside the traditional banking halls.

Renowned artists such as Empress P, Adfega, and many more are set to perform live, adding to the excitement of the occasion. This fiesta not only promotes team bonding among junior staff members but also reflects the bank’s commitment to achieving a cashless society and bringing its services closer to the people.
