Reports state that President Bio skipped the Presidential TownHall, held at Kenema City in Kenema.
Bio’s absence has sent shockwaves through members of the public. The event was initially scheduled for the President to entertain all and any questions relating to his administration and the way forward in economic development, youth empowerment, government spending, and the provision of basic amenities, like sustainable electricity.
The Vice President was also missing in action, as only the Chief Minister and heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies took over the panel to entertain questions from the people, initially packaged for the President himself.
In the past Presidential TownHall held at Bintumani, President Bio was in attendance, and he responded to questions processed by the Information Minister, Chernor Maju Bah.
The reason for his absence at this year’s event is still a mystery.
