President Julius Maada Bio has appointed a new Secretary to the President, replacing Dr. Julius Sandy.

Mr. Barba Brima Fortune has been named to the position, according to a public notice issued on Tuesday, 3rd June 2025.

As Secretary to the President, Mr. Fortune will be responsible for coordinating high-level presidential matters, supporting policy implementation, and serving as a key liaison between the presidency and other arms of government.
