The Government of Sierra Leone has announced the appointment of Mr. Cyril Arnold Grant as the country’s new Minister of Energy, subject to the approval of Parliament.

The announcement was made through an official public notice issued by the Office of the President, State House, confirming the decision of His Excellency, President Dr. Julius Maada Bio.

As the incoming Minister, Mr. Grant is expected to lead efforts aimed at accelerating Sierra Leone’s energy development agenda, working closely with stakeholders to ensure affordable, efficient, and environmentally sustainable energy solutions for all citizens.

The appointment will take effect upon Parliamentary approval, after which Mr. Grant will assume his official duties and provide strategic leadership to the Ministry of Energy.
