SLFA President Babadi Kamara Engages New Organising Committee, Sets FA Cup as Immediate Priority

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚, has held his first official meeting with the newly constituted SLFA Organising Committee, setting the FA Cup as the committee’s immediate task while outlining its wider responsibilities across SLFA competitions.

The meeting, held at the SLFA Secretariat, focused on strategic planning and coordination for the FA Cup, alongside discussions on the committee’s role in overseeing and advising on other competitions and major events organized by the SLFA.

President Kamara emphasized professionalism, transparency, and effective coordination, noting that the Organising Committee plays a critical role not only in delivering the FA Cup, but also in advising the Executive Committee on competitions including the Men’s and Women’s Premier League, Division One and Two leagues, playoffs, and other major SLFA events.

Chairman of the Organising Committee, 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐎𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐲, on behalf of members, expressed appreciation for the President’s leadership and assured him of their full commitment to executing their mandate and supporting the successful delivery of all assigned competitions.
