The Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) has awarded the contract for the construction of the Tinkoko-Kpetema Mattru Jong Road Lot 2 to Pavifort Construction Company. The agreement, signed today, 18th July 2024, at the SLRA headquarters, marks a significant step towards improving infrastructure and boosting economic growth in the region.
The new road, spanning several kilometers, is anticipated to be a crucial link for local farmers and businesses, facilitating the efficient movement of agricultural produce. This development is expected to stimulate economic activities and enhance the livelihoods of the residents in the areas and beyond.
Pavifort Construction Company has committed to delivering the project within the stipulated timeline of twenty-four months. During the signing ceremony, representatives from Pavifort assured the government and stakeholders of their dedication to quality and timely completion. They emphasised their intent to meet all specified standards and to ensure the road serves its purpose effectively for many years to come.
The ceremony was attended by key officials from the SLRA, representatives of Pavifort Construction Company, and other stakeholders. The SLRA expressed confidence in Pavifort’s capabilities, citing the company’s proven track record in handling large-scale construction projects.
