Owl CEO And IPAM Lecturer Hosted by London School oF Economics Entrepreneurship Center in the UK

Alhaji Dauda Bangura, CEO of Owl Newspaper and esteemed lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), has on the 15th of July 2024 been hosted by the Entrepreneurship Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), LSE. The visit aimed to bolster the relationship between IPAM and LSE Generate, facilitating a collaborative effort to enhance entrepreneurship and innovation.

During his visit, the Owl CEO and Lecturer engaged in comprehensive discussions with the LSE team, exploring the web of running a successful university-based incubator. LSE, recognized as the top in-house incubator at a British university and ranked 6th in Europe, provided valuable insights into creating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“This visit has not only opened our eyes at the IPAM Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEEI) but also expanded my knowledge on how IPAM CEEI can become the premier entrepreneurship innovation hub in West Africa,” Mr Dauda stated. “The strategies and models employed by LSE Generate are exemplary, and we aim to adapt and implement similar approaches to drive entrepreneurial growth and innovation at IPAM.”

His visit showcased IPAM’s readiness to lead the way in entrepreneurship and innovation. By leveraging the expertise and success of renowned institutions like LSE, IPAM CEEI aspires to elevate its status as a hub for entrepreneurial excellence in the region.
