The head coach of one of the leading Premier League Clubs in Sierra Leone, Coach Titi of Diamond Stars Football Club, has tendered his resignation over allegations of breach of contract by top management of the club.

See details of his resignation letter below.

Letter of Resignation
“I am pleased to announce my resignation from the club based on the prevailing
circumstances of the club and the current management.
It may be recalled that I signed a contract with the club two years ago with conditional agreement that has been breached by management.
Management have not been able to comply with the following:

  1. Accommodation for my stay;
  2. Irregular payment of monthly salary;
  3. Backlog of bonuses;
  4. Lack of team support to the players and insufficient training equipment
  5. Lack of team morale.

With all these problems I have experienced in the club; there are no better conditions of service and no encouragement by some members of the management, I decided to take this decision.

I want to thank the management of the club, players as well as officers, for the opportunity given to me to help them in their developmental strive although things didn’t work as expected, I hope the management will provide me with all me outstanding salaries, bonuses and other benefits.
I wish the club all the best in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League.”
