The border town of Zimmi will turn orange as Orange-SL storms the township today, Thursday 23rd September, 2021 to launch it’s first-ever franchise in that part of the country.
In an earlier preparation for the launch, the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management of Orange-SL on Tuesday 21st September, 2021 stormed Bo City, Southern Sierra Leone to appreciate their numerous customers; engage the local and traditional authorities on the services and importance of linking up with Orange-SL.
However, today’s launch of the Orange-SL franchise in Zimmi has several advantages. Though this is not the first Orange-SL franchise to be launched in Sierra Leone as there are hundreds of others across the country, it is the first for Zimmi as according to Orange-SL management, Zimmi is in a very strategic location and the Orange-SL franchise would serve as a one-stop shop for the border communities between Sierra Leone and neighbouring Liberia.
During the launch, local and traditional authorities and representatives of the security sector in that part of the country including the Police, Military and ONS were openly thrilled and excited. They expressed their profound appreciation to Orange-SL for taking the company’s services to that part of the country, adding that they are optimistic that this will not only improve communications with their loved ones inside and outside the country but it will further boost the manner in which they carry out their financial transactions and money transfers.
One of the most advantageous aspects of the new Orange-SL franchise in Zimmi is that customers can now access all Orange-SL services in Zimmi and would no longer need to travel to Freetown, Bo or elsewhere to access Orange-SL services like money transfer, etc.
