The Orange Foundation has continued its nationwide push to expand digital learning opportunities for children, this time extending support to pupils and teachers in Tonkolili District. Earlier today, the Foundation visited St. Paul’s Primary School in Mathokara Village to donate Digital School Kits—an initiative designed to bridge the digital divide in underserved communities.

The donation is part of Orange Foundation’s broader mission to promote digital inclusion across Sierra Leone. By equipping schools with essential digital tools, the Foundation aims to empower young learners to explore new possibilities, enhance classroom engagement, and build vital skills needed in an increasingly technology-driven world.

According to the Foundation, each school reached represents another step toward narrowing the digital gap. The initiative not only benefits pupils but also strengthens the capacity of teachers, who are provided with tools that support modern, technology-enhanced instruction.

During the visit, the atmosphere in Mathokara was filled with smiles and excitement as pupils, teachers, and community members welcomed the new learning resources.

The Foundation noted that such reactions reinforce the importance of expanding access to digital education and motivate continued investment in similar initiatives.

Orange Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that every child—regardless of geographical location—has the opportunity to thrive through digital empowerment.
