Orange Foundation Donates 40th and 41st Digital School Kits to Sierra Leone Schools

The Orange Foundation has donated its 40th and 41st Digital School Kits to Modern Elementary School and Saint Joseph’s Primary School, furthering its efforts to enhance digital learning in the country.

The donation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, who praised the government’s commitment to education and highlighted Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4), which seeks inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all by 2030. He commended Orange Sierra Leone for supporting this mission.

Other notable attendees included Minister of Tertiary and Higher Education Dr. Ramatulai Wurie; Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education Dr. Conrad Sackey; CEO of Orange Sierra Leone Sekou Amadou Bah; Director of the Orange Foundation Annie Wonnie Katta; Chief Marketing Officer Mamadou Bousso; and General Secretary Danetta Younge.

Representatives from both schools welcomed the donations, noting that the Digital School Kits would provide pupils with access to vital learning resources and technology, fostering innovation in teaching and learning.

Each Digital School Kit is designed to connect classrooms to digital learning tools, helping students develop essential skills in an increasingly technology-driven world. The initiative underscores the Orange Foundation’s commitment to expanding access to quality education across Sierra Leone.
