Office of the Opposition Leader in Parliament Mourns Hon. Ernest Dura Koroma

The Office of the Opposition Leader in Parliament has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden and tragic passing of Honourable Ernest Dura Koroma, Member of Parliament representing Tonko Limba Chiefdom in Kambia District under the banner of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party.

According to an official statement issued on Monday, October 7, 2025, the late Hon. Ernest Dura Koroma lost his life in a fatal road accident earlier in the day. His untimely death has been described as a great loss not only to his family and constituents in Kambia but also to the entire parliamentary community and the nation at large.

The statement from the Opposition Leadership described Hon. Koroma as a dedicated and humble public servant who served his people with unwavering commitment and loyalty to the ideals of the APC and the development of Sierra Leone.

“His death leaves a deep void in our hearts and in the Opposition Bench of Parliament,” the statement added.

The Office of the Opposition Leader extended heartfelt condolences to Hon. Koroma’s family, the people of Tonko Limba, the Kambia District community, and all Members of Parliament who mourn this painful loss.
