Tandem Liber Holdings SL Ltd, the natural resources division of Qommodity on Saturday 30th April 2022 as a humanitarian gesture to mark the end of the month of Ramadan distributed basic food items to over 100 persons with disabilities that are seen daily at the Cotton Tree in central Freetown.
Speaking to the physically challenged people, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of Tandem Liber Holdings, Abdul Kamara of Tandem informed the Chairlady Kadiatu Sillah that the donation came from Tandem Liber Holdings CEO and Chairman Edward Meijers who is currently out of the country.
Mr. Kamara promised the Cotton Tree PWDs that TL Holdings will from time to time reach out to them.
Kadiatu Sillah on behalf of her charges thanked Tandem Liber Holdings for their kind gesture and prayed for their success while outlining the challenges they face including homelessness.
As a responsible corporate citizen, it can be recalled that in March 2022, in the eastern region city of Kenema, in furtherance of the company’s corporate social responsibility, CEO Meijers announced at the Constituency 21 SLPP office a pledge of Le1 billion as support to social causes in Sierra Leone. He added that Le200 million of the money was for microcredit for women in that CONSTITUENCY WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN TRANSFERRED IN THE AACOUNT OF CONSTITUENCY 021

CEO Meijers noted however that TL Holdings has no partisan interest in Sierra Leone politics, adding that their company’s interest is to help transform Sierra Leone into a modern country like Dubai which fifty years ago was highly underdeveloped.
