Nigerian Business Tycoon Obi Cubana Joins President Bio at Opening of Chapter One Nightclub in Freetown

Popular Nigerian businessman and hospitality mogul, Obi Cubana, met with Sierra Leone’s President, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, during his recent visit to Freetown for the official opening of the newly launched Chapter One Nightclub and Restaurant.

The high-profile meeting took place as part of Obi Cubana’s visit to Sierra Leone, where he was among the top personalities who jetted into the country to attend the grand unveiling of the prestigious nightlife venue.

In a heartfelt message following the engagement, Cubana expressed his gratitude to the President and the people of Sierra Leone for their exceptional hospitality.

“Thank you sincerely, Mr. President, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio – President of Sierra Leone and Chairman of ECOWAS,” Obi Cubana wrote. “It was a true honour to be received in your beautiful country and welcomed so graciously into your office. The warmth, hospitality, and kindness extended by you and the amazing people of Sierra Leone will remain with me always. I’m deeply grateful for the experience.”

Located in central Freetown near the Atlantic coast, Chapter One Nightclub and Restaurant is a state-of-the-art venue owned by prominent Sierra Leonean businessman Fassally Tarawally.

The club aims to transform the city’s nightlife with its modern design, vibrant entertainment schedule, and premium hospitality offerings. It is already establishing itself as a hotspot for music lovers, themed events, and nightlife enthusiasts.

President Bio, who officially opened the venue, commended Tarawally for his bold investment in the hospitality sector, stressing its importance in creating employment opportunities and stimulating economic growth.
