Rev. James Lahai, National Coordinator of the National Elections Watch (NEW), has raised concerns over what he describes as a deliberate effort to exclude the organisation from key Tripartite Committee discussions.

In an interview with Truth Media, Rev. Lahai revealed that NEW is not represented on the Tripartite Steering Committee.

He explained that while the organisation was invited to submit recommendations during meetings, and many of their suggestions were incorporated into the Tripartite report, they remain absent from the list of civil society organisations on the Steering Committee.

“The process seems to be going back and forth, without any real progress,” Lahai said, expressing frustration over the perceived lack of inclusion and transparency.
