Popular entertainer and APC politician Natasha Beckley has been released on bail by the Sierra Leone Police following allegations of drug-related activities.

Beckley, who was placed on a police warrant on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, appeared today at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters. After undergoing intense questioning and scrutiny, she was granted bail while investigations continue.

Beckley was accompanied by her legal counsel, Abdul Karim Kamara Esq., who confirmed her release to the media this afternoon.

The case stems from a police raid conducted on June 13, 2025, at a property located at No. 8 Campbell Lane, Fourah Bay Road, where authorities reportedly discovered materials allegedly used in drug processing, including shredded leaves, acetone containers, gas masks, and weighing scales.

The Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) had previously issued a public “WANTED” notice for Beckley under warrant number C/R NO. 161/2025, offering a reward for information leading to her arrest. Police maintain that they have credible evidence linking her to the alleged offenses.

Authorities emphasized that Beckley’s release on bail does not halt the ongoing investigation, and she is expected to fully cooperate with law enforcement as the case progresses.
