Meet The Three Best Graduating Students of The University of Sierra Leone

The Management of the University of Sierra Leone has successfully completed a three-day congregation ceremony for each of the constituent colleges (FBC, IPAM & COMAHS) including the school of postgraduate studies. The conferment of degrees, diplomas and certificates is a mandatory statutory function provided by the Universities Act 2021.


This year event started on 23rd April and ended on 25th April, 2024 at the Ajayi Crowther Amphitheatre, FBC. These dates features the three best graduating students of the University of Sierra Leone’s three(3) Constituent Colleges. Below are the best three

Mohamed Salieu Bah- Best Graduating Student, College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences(COMAHS), USL

2: Mamadu Jalloh- Best graduating student- Fourah Bay College,USL

3Mamadu Andii Bah- Best Graduating Student- IPAM, USL

The process of conferring degrees and diplomas usually starts with the approval of final results from all constituent colleges by Senate to be ratified by the University Court. These procedures are in accordance with the University ordinance, rules and regulations and all relevant statues governing the conduct of the university.

The process and procedure for the 2022/2023 session started with the swearing-in-ceremony of graduating medics at COMAHS on 19th April 2024.

The ceremony took place at the Kosho town Campus. The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohamed Samai described the swearing -in- ceremony in few words,, “this great occasion is not only about oath taking but it is also a moment of celebration after many years of hard work,
