The Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, participated in a fundraising event in Kono, hosted by the All People’s Congress (APC) District Chairladies of the Eastern Region.

The event, held on the evening of January 31, 2025, brought together community leaders, stakeholders, and supporters committed to advancing women’s empowerment in the region.
