Jagaban Pledges To Pay Monthly Stipend To Imams & Top-Up All Masjids Meters In Kono

Kono District, 5 November, 2023 – Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, alias Jagaban, captivated thousands of Muslim worshippers during his address at the Temne Central Mosque in Kono. His message centered on the importance of peace, unity, and support within the Muslim community.

Jagaban called upon the Muslim community to take care of their imams, the spiritual leaders who guide and inspire them. He stressed the importance of providing imams with livelihood, recognizing their significant role in the community. Jagaban encouraged Muslims to support their imams by ensuring they are provided with the necessary resources to sustain themselves and their families.

Jagaban also highlighted the importance of feeding the destitute, emphasizing the Islamic principle of charity and compassion towards those in need. He urged Muslims to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate, emphasizing the significance of love and support within the community.

Recognizing the importance of education, Jagaban called upon Muslim parents to send their children to learn the Holy Quran. He emphasized the value of religious education as a means to strengthen the community’s knowledge and understanding of their faith. By investing in their children’s religious education, Jagaban believes Muslims can build a stronger and more knowledgeable generation.

To demonstrate his commitment to the Muslim community in Kono, Jagaban pledged to provide monthly stipend to imams and support them with meter top up at their masjids (mosques). This promise of financial assistance and practical support aims to ensure that imams can continue their vital work in guiding and serving the Muslim community.
