_Freetown, Sierra Leone, 26 Dec, 2023_ – It could be recalled that, in the early hours of today, 26 December, 2023, State Security forces carried out an unannounced search at the residence of, Sheik Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, alias Jagaban, a prominent figure in the main opposition APC, on Malta Street, Freetown.
In response to the incident, Jagaban through his Communications Team, has released a press statement assuring the public of their cooperation with the security forces.
In the Press Statement, they confirmed the safety of Jagaban’s family and team and called for calm among his supporters. Jagaban further urged the citizens of Sierra Leone to support the government’s efforts in maintaining stability and peace in the country.
The incident has sparked discussions about the balance between national security and individual rights, raising questions about the government’s motives and the need for transparency.
In the spirit of the season, Jagaban extended his warmest greetings to his fellow Sierra Leoneans, wishing them a peaceful and blessed time.
