In a groundbreaking move aimed at fostering academic collaboration and advancing entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone, the IPAM Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEEI), in a meaningful partnership with the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Generate, has onboarded over 80 students for the Sierra Leone Changemakers Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Project. This partnership signifies a new era of collaboration and innovation in the academic and entrepreneurial landscape of Sierra Leone.

The project, titled “Social Entrepreneurship as a Path to Sustainable and Equitable Development in Sierra Leone,” is sponsored by a Royal Academy of Engineering grant.

This first joint project between IPAM CEEI and LSE Generate is essential in enhancing academic collaboration and using knowledge to support sustainable development and social entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone. In addition, it aims to accelerate the college’s internationalisation by establishing global partnerships, which is one of the pillars of the DVC, Prof. Miriam Conteh-Morgan’s institutional development agenda.

This initiative also aligns with other pillars of the agenda, namely, infusing quality across all college operations and promoting student enrichment activities.
