Mental health remains one of the most under-addressed challenges affecting people across Sierra Leone. Many individuals continue to struggle with mental distress due to trauma, social pressure, unemployment, and stigma, while access to mental health support remains limited.
In response, TEAS Tech Foundation has launched BHelp – Bridging the Gap Between Mental Struggles and Real Support, a new initiative aimed at improving mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and strengthening access to psychosocial support, particularly for adolescents, youth, and women.

The BHelp Initiative will promote open and safe conversations around mental health through community- and school-based awareness activities, peer support discussions, and psychosocial workshops. It will also work to establish referral pathways by collaborating with mental health professionals and relevant institutions.
As a newly launched initiative, TEAS Tech Foundation is calling on mental health professionals, counselors, media partners, and individuals passionate about mental well-being to join the BHelp Initiative in building a more supportive and mentally healthy Sierra Leone.
