1 The Government of Sierra Leone has received funds from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank toward the cost of Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement (REDISEE). The Project is implemented by the (1) Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and (2) Ministry of Health and Sanitation. The Project implementing agenciesintend to apply part of the proceeds toward payment for the Procurement of Refrigerated Trucks for Transporting of Medical Waste.
The Integrated Health Project Administration Unit (IHPAU) of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for:

- Bidding will be conducted using the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (Dated January, 2011, revised July 2014) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Guidelines. Bidders must submit with their bids and meet the following:
- At least three years of experience in motor vehicles supplies;
- Joint Venture Agreement (where applicable);
- Bid Security Declaration Form;
- Business Registration certificate or Business License in conformity with the provision of country of the bidder;
- Manufacturer’s/ Authorized Agent Authorization; and
- Technical Brochure/ Catalogue of vehicle to be supplied.
- Interested and eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below or by email to msesay@mohsihpau.gov.sl
- The bidding document in English can be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Thousand Leones or an equivalent in freely convertible currency. The bidding document may be sent by via email upon request. The method of payment will be by Bank transfer, Wire transfer and Direct payment in the Account listed below:

5 Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Monday, 20th June at 1300hrs. Electronic Bidding will not be accepted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened on Monday, 20th June at 1300hrs in the presence of the Bidders’ or designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
6 All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
