SLPP Mayoral hopeful, Hon. Sualiho Monyaba Koroma has ahead of the National Voter Registration donated 100 megaphones and 2 vehicles to be used as a means of transportation for the aged and physically challenged persons in Bo City.
The donated items which were handed over to the party’s Regional Executive, attracted executives of all Zones in Bo City including representatives from the District and Regional Executives.
Making a statement on behalf of the SLPP Regional Executive South, Regional Secretary, Francis Massaquoi expressed profuse thanks and appreciation on Hon. Sualiho M. Koroma for the donation describing it as noticeably timely and crucial and promised to use the items for their intended purposes.
He called on all party supporters in the South to register in their numbers and to lay aside their indifferences in an effort to put President Julius Maada Bio back to Power.
National Coordinator for ‘MY CITY, MY MAYOR CAMPAIGN TEAM’, Councilor Abdul Razac said the bigger and priceless picture in their magnanimity is to ensure a landslide victory for President Bio come 2023 and admonished that the best is yet to come.
SLPP Bo District Women’s Leader, Haja Mary Katta on behalf of colleague women thanked Hon. Sualiho for the assistance describing him as the man of the people who hailed from grassroot to prominence and urged all eligible women in Bo District to register massively.
Elders Council and Zonal Council of Chairmen representatives both commended the selfless nature of the donor towards the dreams and aspirations of the party from time Immemorial to present day. They said among all the aspirants for the Bo City Mayoral bid, Hon. Sualiho Koroma remains the only person who has visited all the zones in Bo City and is in constant touch with every Zonal executive.
‘’ we are ready to play our politics positively’’ they reaffirmed.
In his keynote address, Hon. Sualiho Monyaba Koroma described the Sectional, Zonal, Constituency, Chiefdom, District and Regional executives as the owners and strategic decision makers of the party thus the compelling need to support all their operations or activities to ensure massive voter registration in Bo District thereby securing overwhelming votes cast in favour of President Julius Maada Bio in the upcoming General elections. ‘’Aside the Mayoral ambition, my assignment is to ensure the highest number of votes for President Bio nationwide, comes from Bo District’’ Hon. SM Koroma avowed.
He vowed on behalf of the ‘MY CITY, MY MAYOR CAMPAIGN TEAM’ to mobilize the required logistics and resources for massive voter registration and vowed to donate an undisclosed package to the First and Second wards with the highest voter registration data.
Hon. Sualiho Monyaba Koroma once served Bo District as a Member of Parliament in the then Constituency 067 now 086. He holds the distinguished honour in the SLPP as a Grand Chief Patron. His magnanimity in and out of the political circles, transcends political lines and to date is acclaimed by beneficiaries of his numerous assistances as ’Man of the People’.
