Former Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament and current MP for Pujehun District, Rt. Hon. Dr. Mohamed Sidie Tunis, has donated NLe 500,000 (USD 25,000) to the SLPP Bo District Executives in Bo city.

He also presented 10 motorbikes to Young Generation Leaders and 2 motorbikes to SLPP artists, valued at NLe 360,000 (USD 15,000), bringing the total contribution to NLe 860,000 (USD 40,000).

The donation is part of Hon. Tunis’ NLe 5 billion pledge to develop the party nationwide, with previous contributions made in districts such as Moyamba, East Urban, and Bo. The initiative aligns with President Julius Maada Bio’s BIG FIVE GAME CHANGER Agenda, emphasizing investment in youth and community development.

During his visit, Hon. Tunis paid courtesy calls to SLPP supporters, reiterating his commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He highlighted two key priorities: grassroots mobilization to support the government’s initiatives and public education on nation-building, including campaigns against kush abuse under the theme, “Say No To Kush.”

The SLPP Bo District Executives expressed gratitude for Hon. Tunis’ support, while various groups including Tunis Babies, Njala University Students, Bo Farmers Association, and Bo Traders Union presented certificates of appreciation and reaffirmed their loyalty.
