As part of his mandate and passion for education, the Honorable member of parliament-Hon. Sahr Charles popularly known as teacher Charles yesterday turned the sod for the construction of 3 classrooms structure at Yekior town, Fiama Chiefdom ,Kono District for children living around that municipality.

According to the Honourable member, education is one of president Bio’s heartbeat dreams as part of his manifestos which any meaningful citizens can willingly accept to support in any ramification. He also described his function to the Yekior habitats as a form of complementing government’s efforts in the free and quality education.

He thanked the constituent officials who in diverse ways contributed to see his plans for his people unearthed. He assured the people of Yekior town of his full supports from the start of the construction to the end which is not limited to the running of the school.

He later called on the youths to serve as watchdogs for the said construction.

Some constituent members who took part in the turning sod, which was the official commencement of the construction, thanked the Hon. member of parliament- Hon. Sahr Charles and other stakeholders for such support and assured them that they will use their efforts to see the construction as a finished property and they promised to use it for the intended purpose in the future.
