The 3rd January, 2021, Honorable Sahr Charles of Constituency 028 handed over a MODERNIZED pump to Chief Sansie Kwigba in a bid to address the acute water shortage around the chief’s community, that is, the Hill Station Community in Koidu City.
You could recalled that few weeks ago, the aforementioned Honorable through his development partners launched the start of the work, the partners in conjunction with the Honorable did their very best to see the completion and success of the project.
In his handing over speech, Honorable Sahr Charles made it clear that, he lobbed through his partners for the aforesaid development to be taken to chief Sansie Kwigba’s place, because he deserves it as a strong and honest liberator of Kono District, adding that, he has done a lot for the district and he deserves more.
On behalf of the development partners, a representative asked the people to utilize the pump carefully because huge sum of money was spent on the project, adding that, care should be taken for the longevity and sustainability of the aforementioned development.
Receiving the keys as a symbol of handing over, Chief Sansie Kwigba appreciated the Honorable man and his development partners for taken such a scintillating development to his community.
He stressed that, the pump this time around , will address the acute water shortage they used to face during the dries.
He however maintained that, the pump will be utilized for its intended purpose.

The occasion ended with a symbolic pumping as the water flows, people drank the fresh and clean water.
