Leader of the All Peoples Congress in the House of Parliament, who is in charge of the party in the Western Area, has cheered persons, he described as “live wires” of the region and the party as a whole.

Honorable Chernoh Ramadan Maju Bah said former Mayor, Herbert George Williams and Abu Bakarr Daramy are building blocks of the party and their continued stay behind bars is an example of fortitude to fight for democracy.

He refused to comment on the merit of the case, but says he believes the APC Comrades will walk free as against all the Charges levied against them given he had known them over decades and what they are good at, he maintained is to serve their communities and the country at a large.

“A part of me had been with them and their release is a relief for me,” he added describing the resilience of the Comrades as second to none.

Chericoco is with the firm conviction the APC will return soonest and these worthy comrades, he added, will be forever be acknowledged for sacrificing their lives, comfort and convenience for the soul of the party.

Justice Cosmotina Jarrett has granted self bail to the two who are standing trial for the alleged murder of journalist Ibrahim Samura.
