The aspiring Organizing Secretary for the All People’s Congress (APC), Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura, has embarked on massive Voter Registration mobilization and sensitization across Kambia District and even beyond.
The Never tired and smooth operator is traversing mainland, Reverin and Islands in the Little and Great Scarcies Rivers, witnessing a dawn of a positive turn out of registrants as phase two of voter registration exercise begins.
Hundreds of women, youth and aged came out in streams to welcome the energetic know mobilizer and his message of voter registration in places many cannot leave comfort zones to visit
Honorable Bai Mahmoud Bangura, spoke to the people of Kambia with great sense of nationalism and patriotism – he acknowledged the warm reception given to him by the people of Kambia District and beyond, he thanked them for their tremendous commitment in trusting the APC party.
He added that these are trying times and we all as Sierra Leoneans should be vigilant and be respectful to the law. He went on to say that the 2023 elections is just around the corner, and the first step to be part of that process is to ensure that everyone is fully registered for them to exercise their democratic right and speak through the ballot box come June 24th 2023..
Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura, further stated that he is touring the district of Kambia and beyond not only to sensitive people about their rights to register and vote, but also it’s an attempt to mobilize and organize the loyal members of the APC party for them to be mentally prepared and be positively minded to walk on the paths to victory.
On another note, He urged all members of the APC party to put their differences aside and join forces to ensure that victory is assured come June 24th 2023.
The people of Mambolo Chiefdom and the entire Kambia District, thanked the honorable for his speech. They chanted in high voice that the visit of Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura, came at a time when they needed it the most, as his presence has lifted their spirits positively.
The supporters sang melodiously for Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura, and asserted that it is in respect and appreciation for his good works not only to members of the APC party, but also to Sierra Leone at large.
They underscored that this is a message to the rest of the APC party both at home and abroad, that they desperately need to mobilize and speak with one voice so that victory will be assured.
